மனநிலை (Mananilai) - state of mind. This instrumental-only album is an exploration of the after-life. During a time when the world is giving collective importance to life and death, it's difficult to not constantly contemplate our own demise. What should we expect once we leave this plane? Where do we go? Can we return here? Will we return here? What do we feel? How should we feel? In this album, Krithi traverses through her imagination of the afterlife, the emotions she might experience, ranging from denial (naragam - hell) to acceptance (sorgam - heaven)—the same way one might experience the loss of a loved one, addiction or anything that is extremely laborious to reconcile.
